Bio
For over 20 years, Tony Benion aka DJ WyldChyld, has been a regular fixture in Chicago’s nightlife scene. A versatile expert of all genres, his energetic DJ sets have always been guaranteed to move any crowd. His musical genius has been solicited for sporting events, weddings, clubs, college homecomings, private parties and more. His acclaim skyrocketed after serving as a 2011 Lollapalooza DJ. He also gained the position of team dj/music director for the professional minor league baseball team The Chicago Dogs for their inaugural season. In addition, he is also a seasoned musician (drummer), sound engineer, and devoted father. He has also started his own non for profit organization called I Just Wanna Work Foundation for kids and youth effected by autism.
DJ WyldChyld skillfully leaves all those within earshot with an experience that is extraordinary and will not be forgotten. Looking towards the future, he’s optimistic and sees himself effectively catering to a more diverse audience not only nationally, but globally as well.
